American Revolution Patriots List (DAR)

"Every post is honorable in which a man can serve his country". George Washington

It is not unusual for families who trace their ancestral lineage in colonial America prior to 1776 to find men and women who served in some capacity in the American Revolution. The Ferree/LeFevre/Faulkner and associated families are counted among this unique group. In that spirit, the purpose of this page is to list the names and ancestor numbers assigned to Patriots found in the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Ancestor Database to assist other family members in their research
for DAR or Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) membership. It is interesting to note that the DAR has a goal of having 250,000 members by 2026 when our country celebrates its 250th anniversary.

The Patriot name, ancestor number assigned by the DAR, and their state of service are listed under the first-generation family members, the children of Daniel Ferree and Marie Warenbour, if known.

This is a work in progress and additions will be made as they become known. If your Patriot's name does not appear on a list and you would like to have it included and it has been verified by the DAR, we would be pleased to add it. If you have interest in adding a name, have questions, or would like more information, please contact Shirley Hunter Smith (shirley1776@yahoo.com) or Donna Jernigan (aggiemomdonna@yahoo.com).
