Marie Ferree Diary

"A diary will really try and tell people who you are and what you were.". John Robert Fowles

What was life really like for the Ferree family as they settled on their land in Pennsylvania? We can't be certain. It is thought they must have had to overcome many hardships. We may, each of us, have our own thoughts about those hardships and their life.

What was our Madame Marie really like? We can't be certain. Would she have taken the time and effort to write in a diary every day? We have no way of knowing.

The following pages are not taken from any diary or journal she may have had nor are they to be taken as historically accurate or factual. They serve merely to provide some pleasurable reading by giving us an idea of what might have been the thoughts of our Madame Marie about the events in her life and what she may have written about them. Bonne lecture!
